Is the showroom open?
We are gradually reopening our showroom to the public in-line with government guidance and when we think it is safe to do so. Currently, we are pleased to welcome any visitors to our showroom provided they book an appointment here.
What measures are being implemented to make the showroom as safe as possible?
As we’re sure you’ll appreciate, we’re operating rather differently at the moment, and ask that any visitors adhere to our guidelines which we’ve put in place to protect both our employees and our clients.
Prior to your appointment, we ask you to confirm that you:
- Are not experiencing any coronavirus symptoms.
- Have not been requested to self-isolate according to government guidelines.
- Have not knowingly recently come into contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms/tested positive.
If you believe you are unable to meet the above requirements at this time, we are more than happy to reschedule your appointment to a later date.
Upon your arrival to our showroom, we will:
- Ask you to sign in using contact details on our iPad, which is wiped down with disinfectant after any use.
- Ask that you wash your hands using the facilities near our reception area.
- Record your temperature to ensure that it doesn’t exceed the average.
- Provide you with a face mask that must be worn during the duration of your visit.
- Provide you with disposable gloves and hand sanitiser should you wish to use them.
Can I still make bespoke orders?
Our factory has resumed manufacturing with a skeleton team on-site working with added safety measures in order to continue the creation of our handcrafted products. The wellbeing of our on-site team will continue to be our number 1 priority during this phase so that employees feel safe, work safe and are safe.
Our sales team will also be on-hand and more than happy to consult with any client in need of made-to-order advice or assist them in questions concerning their current orders!
To facilitate the smooth and safe delivery of your orders, we are collaborating with a third-party delivery service so that you can continue working on your dream interior space.
What protective measures are being taken to ensure deliveries are handled safely? Is my delivery safe to receive?
We are minimising the number of employees at work and all on-site staff are wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and practice the highest standards in social distancing. We have brought in additional measures to ensure social distancing at our warehouse and factory in order to protect the health and safety of remaining employees.
We have been working closely with our external courier services to keep up to date with extra precautions that have been introduced. Our courier services are all stringently following government advice, communicating health and safety guidelines with their employees. Furthermore, they have introduced measures to offer alternative delivery options for recipients, including contact-free delivery.
We are also pleased to be able to deliver to a communal area within a building, or to a garage or driveway in order to respect the distancing guidelines. If you wish your item to be delivered directly to your front door, please be mindful that drivers may ask you to maintain social distancing rules when delivering your parcel.
Will my order still arrive on time?
To keep our employees and the public safe, we are working at a reduced workforce capacity. Therefore, due to extended processing times and external courier disruptions, your delivery may take longer to get to you than usual.
We are working hard to minimise disruption to our online delivery service and we deeply apologise for any inconvenience.
Is it safe to come into contact with an order I have received and collected?
Public Health England have said that there’s no current evidence to suggest that the virus can be transmitted from packages.
Is your RoomView digital consultation service still available?
Although there will be fewer members in the showroom, our sales team can now be there to take the extra step in your furniture shopping experience! Through RoomView, our newest consultation service, you can now schedule a video call with one of our team members. Whether you want a tour of the showroom or to see more of a specific product, RoomView can now help realise your design dream from the comfort of your own home.
Am I able to place orders over the telephone?
At present, a trimmed down Client Service team is ready to process orders over the telephone. Because of reduced members of active staff, we kindly ask for your patience in the case they are not immediately available for your queries.
